Who is Ms Crunk?

Too Fresh Entertainment was born to President/CEO Keitha "Ms Crunk" Carter in 2005. Earning her name from her overflow of ambition, energy and love for bass, Ms Crunk is a uniquely seasoned professional and personality with an ear for talent and over 10 years of leadership/management experience. While at Penn State University earning her Juris Doctorate (law degree with a focus on corporate and tax law) and her MBA (focus on business planning and finance), her passion for music and talent development led her to start her own entertainment management company, Too Fresh Entertainment, in which she has managed and advised artists as well as comedians and influential DJs since 2005. Ms Crunk’s skills and sharp ear allow her to function in the A&R, Legal, and Business Executive areas to develop, create, and manage innovative ways to

find talented and prepared artists, producers and songwriters. Some of the programs in which she has played an integral role in creating and operating include The Premiere A&R Showcase, Writing Sessions Live, and Live Radio (Atlanta Market). These programs three specific programs were housed under The F.I.R.M (Foundation for Innovative Resource Management), which is the umbrella company. The company was started by a Jive Records A&R consultant to the Senior VP of A&R at Jive (Wayne Williams) in 2008 with Ms Crunk initially acting as VP and later Executive Director of the company. Two artists from The Premiere A&R Showcase were signed to major labels after A&Rs saw their performance. Her socialite lifestyle and major industry connections influenced her to begin hosting and promoting well-attended events at Atlanta venues such as The W Buckhead, The W Downtown, Primal Night Club, Ten Pin Alley and Geisha House and more.

In addition to being active in the entertainment industry, she has also held key positions on a former Vice President of the United States U.S. Presidential Campaign, as a judicial law clerk for a U.S. Federal Judge, a legal and finance consultant for one of the world's top consulting firms, human resources for one of the world's largest hotel chains, and even a seat on the Borough Council (City Council) while she was a resident of Pennsylvania. She made history during her education at Penn State Law by being elected as the first African American to hold an executive board seat on the Student Bar Association (SBA Treasurer) during which time she also served as Senior Editor on one of the law school's law reviews. Ms Crunk was nominated, and selected as a finalist for Atlanta’s Power 30 Under 30 Awards. The award honors outstanding individuals under the age of thirty in each major U.S. city that have achieved extraordinary success. The award is one of the most prestigious honors given to young professionals today. Ms Crunk has remained active in the promotional, modeling, and acting fields. She has worked as a promotional model for Nestle, the spokes model for Paws Off Clothing and served as VP of Promotions for Crunk Magazine, an international urban magazine based out of Atlanta, GA. In her position with the magazine, Ms Crunk managed and traveled with a promotional team to events in the U.S. and made promotional appearances in front of crowds as large as 15,000 people (Crunkfest-Memphis). She also hosted F.A.M.E. The Experience (Fashion, Art, Music, Education) a College Tour managed by Grass Roots Marketing, which travels nationwide to colleges and universities. She has hosted several events, spoken on panels, worked in fashion shows, competed and placed in pageants, and made several radio and TV appearances. As education and mentoring are near to her heart, Ms Crunk often visits her home town of Americus Georgia to read and speak to young students, and she also speaks to and mentors young students in Atlanta (H.O.P.E. of America, Inc.) She acts as a mentor to MEISA students at Georgia State University and Alabama State University. She was tapped to host and speak at ASU’s Divas and Dollars: High Powered Women in the Music Industry. Through her position, Ms Crunk was afforded the opportunity to be a part of R.Kelly’s album released in 2009. Following her love for poetry and writing, where her love for music and lyrics began, Ms Crunk recently completed her first book which is comprised of original poetry, thoughts and writings.

Outside of her passion for music, Ms Crunk has a sincere dedication to community service. She has remained a leader in her community by donating time, money, food, and necessities to many worthy causes. Near to her heart is the Feed Atlanta Campaign, which Ms Crunk launched in Summer 2009. The now annual campaign was co-hosted and sponsored by the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Kroger and notables from V103 and 95.5 The Beat. Originally from Americus, GA, she has dedicated hours to Habitat for Humanity assisting with building homes for those in need. Habitat’s headquarters are located in Americus and has been majorly supported by President Jimmy Carter since 1984, the uncle of Ms Crunk’s high school teacher who initially got her involved in the charity. Other charities/community service projects include March of Dimes, Make a Wish Foundation, Atlanta Food Bank, Boys and Girls Club, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for which she has led a team and raised money since 2003. In 2007. her hometown was devastated by a tornado leaving thousands without homes, food, clothing, and other necessities. In response Ms Crunk donated her time during her spring break from law school to create and organize the Americus Relief Team (known to residents as A.R.T.) She gained the support of her law and business schools (Penn State), the American Red Cross, the law office where she worked as well as the borough of Carlisle, PA through her seat on the Borough Council. Facebook allowed her to create a page for Americus residents, who had access, to find out about shelter locations to seek relatives as well as information for finding food, clothing and necessities. All donations, including a considerable amount of monetary donations, were distributed by her with the American Red Cross.

When asked to comment about her position in the music industry, she simply says “I’m just living, working, learning and loving every minute of it. And I always do my best and encourage others to follow their dreams and give back..” Ms Crunk, CEO Too Fresh Entertainment
